Hotel Strategy Co. was born out of a shared passion for Hotel performance between us, Michael & Andreas, following a highly successful engagement together with a large Australian Hotel chain.
We have witnessed a great deal of change in the industry and we see the challenges facing hoteliers every day. Constant operational pressure, a rapidly changing landscape and a highly competitive marketplace. Combine that with a multitude of software and technology vendors saturating the market, all pedalling that ‘their solution is the best’.
We recognised the emerging needs of hoteliers to gain truly clear and independent advice.
So, we set to work and began documenting all our thoughts and ideas. All the tools we had developed over the years, the many spreadsheets, concepts and templates. We mapped our guest experience standards, our sales strategies, our growth mechanisms, our revenue management systems and we pooled our knowledge in the rapidly changing digital marketing space.
What we came up with is a unique and simple to follow system for achieving Hotel Growth.
We took this to market and onboarded our first beta-phase coaching clients back in 2016. Since then, we haven’t looked back. Over 4 years later, and after much development and polish, we now have a defined hotel growth system for improving the fiscal performance of accommodation businesses.
We use this nine-step system Hotel Growth System as the basis for all our direct consulting engagements as well as all our online resources, including our exclusive community of growth focussed hoteliers, the Hotel Growth Gurus.

Andreas has worked with numerous hotel chains including Southern Pacific Hotels Corporation, Stamford, Outrigger and Events Hospitality and Entertainment.
He offers strategic expertise, and the technical knowledge of systems vital to successful Revenue and Distribution Management.
