Completely Out-Paced the Market!
We met Adam at NoVacancy Expo 2018 and while succesful in running the ‘entertainment’ side of the business, he was really struggling with how to make a profit from the 36 apartment units attached to the property.
The local Mackay market was operating at a growth rate of 5%pa when we first got invloved and we set a target for Seabreeze to achieve 30% year on year growth in the first 12 months. This meant the Market Opportunity for Adam was approx. $92,000 in additional revenue.
We began with a Gap Analysis to understand what needed to be addressed, before working together on digital optimisation and general rebranding to improve online visibility and bookability. We got heavily focussed on their rate structure and were involved in their dialy pricing and revenue management.
After 18 months we were able to add incremental revenue of over $358,000 and had them completely out-pacing the local market even through the coronavirus pandemic downturn!
