Refers to which way of distribution a reservation is aquired. To start with channels can be split into 2 camps – Electronic and traditional/off line. Electronic refers to anything aquired without the direct need for human intervention, eg. OTA business (through a Channel Manager interface), GDS and your own branded website. Traditional therefor refers to other channels such as over the phone, email and face to face.
